Paris Museums
The Louvre: from ancient to modern
Follow the gaze of the Mona Lisa at the Louvre, the world's largest museum, or visit at nightfall and marvel at the illuminated Pyramid. The Louvre, France's second biggest tourist landmark, houses a variety of works of western art, from Ancient times up to 1848. Its most famous works include Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, The Wedding Feast at Cana by Veronese and the Venus de Milo. For something different: discover the museum through the eyes of an architect or a special "Touch and See" workshop for children…
Tip: to avoid the long queues, go to the Carrousel du Louvre entrance. After your visit, enjoy a break at the Café Marly, opposite the Pyramid
